Public pages can be read without signing in. Email-code sign-in uses Supabase for authentication. Supabase stores authentication identities and manages sign-in sessions; public profiles, comments, bookmarks, and topic preferences remain in the site’s Cloudflare D1 database. The browser uses Supabase’s SDK session storage and refresh mechanism. Existing ChatGPT sign-in remains available for existing members and the owner. The application receives a verified account identifier, email, and, when supplied, name to identify the signed-in user. Your email and authentication identifier are not displayed in public member profiles.
Your chosen username, display name, profile icon, bio, and contributions are public. Do not put sensitive health information in your profile or comments. Bookmarks and followed topics are private to your signed-in account.
Profiles, comments, bookmarks, and topic preferences are stored to provide those features. Members can edit their profile, remove bookmarks, change followed topics, and remove their own comments. A self-service full account-deletion feature is not currently available.
Drafts and editorial operations are restricted to the owner account. AI editorial jobs act through that owner's authorized connection and cannot publish articles through their tools. This site currently has no advertising network or additional visitor analytics installed. Hosting and authentication services may process operational request data under their own policies.
External paper and news links open other services with their own privacy policies.
Be constructive, cite sources, and distinguish personal experience from research. Do not post spam, harassment, commercial promotions, or private medical details. Automated moderation and a reporting feature are not currently available.
